Details
- Webinar Introduction and Scope: Oresti Michael welcomed attendees to the first webinar featuring a certified Mama CRM professional, Silia Vassiliou, and outlined the topics for the session, which included discussions on various AI tools for daily operations, such as tools for PDFs, video creation, advanced ChatGPT hacks, and the differentiated features of Mama CRM. Silia Vassiliou expressed gratitude for the opportunity to conduct the first free webinar together.
- Host Introduction (Oresti Michael): Oresti Michael introduced themself as a social media consultant with experience since 2009, having worked with over 300 brands on strategy and execution. They highlighted their credentials, including being one of the first Facebook Blueprint certified professionals, holding a BS in marketing and an MBA, and being an HRDA-approved certified trainer. They also mentioned their method, the Oresti Method, which was the initiation point for Mama CRM and its pillars.
- Co-Host Introduction (Silia Vassiliou): Silia Vassiliou, from SILIA’S A2Z introduced themself, noting their business background with a specialization in marketing, and shared that they were the winner of the Cyprus Business Women’s Award of the Year in 2013. Their career progression included management consulting in Asia, PR consulting for major brands, regional marketing manager roles for Southeast Asia, and becoming the general manager for the online news portal Sigma Life, which they developed from its conceptualization. They also co-founded Blend Digital in 2015 and became an HRDA-certified trainer two years ago to impart their knowledge.
- Marketing Strategy and Competitive Advantage: Silia Vassiliou emphasized that the Cyprus economy is primarily composed of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), necessitating smart work, particularly in marketing. They challenged attendees to determine what differentiates their company and what their competitive advantage is, advising that if a business cannot answer this question, they should not pursue marketing efforts. Once a company knows its unique selling points, promotion becomes easier by knowing which tools to use for their target audience.
- Emerging Technologies and AI Adoption in Europe: Silia Vassiliou discussed the importance of adopting emerging technologies, noting that startups are leading the adoption of AI more easily than large organizations, possibly due to bureaucracy and structure. They cautioned that fast AI adoption is not necessarily risky, nor is slow adoption inherently safe, stressing the need to become familiar with technology to maintain productivity and competitiveness. Additionally, around 68% of European startups are more willing to adopt AI if the public sector leads the initiative, underscoring the need for policymakers to collaborate with industries to develop sensible rules instead of imposing restrictions.
- AI Adoption and Strategy in Cyprus: According to a recent report, Cyprus has a high adoption rate of generative AI tools among the youth population, with almost half of the population expected to use them in 2025. Approximately 8% of businesses in Cyprus actively use AI, mainly in sectors such as logistics and customer service, and Cyprus has partnered with Nvidia to launch national high-performance computing infrastructure by mid-2026. Silia Vassiliou noted that the Chief Scientist for research, innovation, and technology, Mr. Ditri Skides, is shaping Cyprus’s national AI strategy, focusing on building an innovation ecosystem and promoting ethical AI adoption through collaboration and upskilling programs.
- Advanced ChatGPT Usage and Effective Prompts: Silia Vassiliou moved on to generative AI tools, noting that while the free version of ChatGPT is good, heavy users should consider the paid version for its speed, availability, and history retention. The most crucial aspect of using ChatGPT is employing effective prompts, which means being clear, specific, and providing relevant context. They provided an example prompt—”Write a 100-word LinkedIn post about recent marketing trends in AI for retail businesses”—to illustrate the necessary specificity for achieving a fantastic result.
- Practical Use Cases and Verification of ChatGPT Content: ChatGPT can be used for content creation (blog articles, social media posts) and professional communication (drafting emails), but users must remember to verify the generated content. Silia Vassiliou shared a personal experience where unverified case studies generated by ChatGPT were incorrect, emphasizing the need to ask the tool to provide verifiable web links and to continue refining prompts for better results. They demonstrated how ChatGPT can summarize a 15-20 page PDF document and extract key points within seconds, highlighting its value.
- Lead Magnets and the Designer Tool: Lead magnets are an underutilized method for legally collecting prospect information, where a user downloads a small, useful piece of content in exchange for their email and consent for marketing. Silia Vassiliou then introduced Designer, an AI-driven tool that can quickly create professional e-books or lead magnets for data mining efforts.
- Video Marketing Tools (Oresti Michael): Oresti Michael showcased three video tools, starting with Parrotai.com, an application that allows users to create videos with avatars of celebrities like Mark Zuckerberg by typing in what they want the avatar to say. They also presented Tryhollow.ai, which allows businesses to create AI-generated employee avatars for unboxing videos or professional service explanations, which is beneficial for companies where owners or employees do not want to appear on camera.
- Quso.ai (formerly Voidyo.ai) for Short-Form Content: Oresti Michael introduced Quso.ai, a tool that can generate short, impactful content from a single long video, such as a 35-minute podcast. The tool automatically identifies the most engaging clips, generating multiple pieces of content optimized for social media platforms. Oresti Michael noted that Cuso.ai, along with Tryhollow, has recently added the capability to directly share the created videos to all social media platforms.
- The Need for an Integrated Marketing Platform (Mama CRM): Oresti Michael explained that the proliferation of AI and marketing tools necessitates faster and more advanced tools and professionals to control and organize the chaos. Mama CRM was developed to consolidate marketing, management, and CRM functions into one platform, addressing the inadequacy of using separate tools for social media management, task management, reporting, and strategy documentation. The current product slogan is “Strategy Focus Social Media Management CRM” because social media management software is a commonly searched term.
- Buyer Personas and SWOT Analysis in Mama CRM: Mama CRM incorporates foundational marketing concepts, beginning with buyer personas, allowing users to document client demographics, characteristics, and behavior. This documentation enables tracking how many personas are engaging with content. The platform also features an AI SWOT analysis, where users input a project or company summary, and the AI generates strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, transitioning from the traditional use of isolated PowerPoint documents.
- Content Planning and Calendar Management in Mama CRM: The context gathered from the AI SWOT analysis is used to create a draft calendar with over 50 content mix ideas designed to entertain, educate, inspire, and convince customers through the awareness, engagement, leads, and sales pillars. Mama CRM allows users to tag content by strategy level (awareness, engagement, leads, or sales), and the draft calendar can be shared via a link for client or manager approval, which upon approval, moves the content to the official calendar for execution across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Product Documentation and Business Continuity: The platform allows for detailed product documentation, including automatically generating five to ten unique selling points (USPs) with a single click, which saves hours of brainstorming and helps new social media marketeers easily understand the company’s offerings. Mama CRM also incorporates a list of public holidays like Father’s Day and Mother’s Day, allowing marketeers to quickly create and schedule content for these dates, supporting business continuity by centralizing strategy and context.
- Reporting and Competition Analysis in Mama CRM: Reporting in Mama CRM provides a clear view of both organic and paid reach, including organic reach details for each post. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are set to answer common business owner questions, such as whether brand awareness goals were achieved based on audience size and reach. The platform also offers competition analysis, allowing users to track competitors’ fans and engagement without needing fake accounts, which helps determine who is standing out within the last 30 days.
- Integrated CRM and Task Management: Mama CRM includes a complete CRM system with contact, leads, and deals tools, eliminating the need for separate subscriptions and supporting bulk lead uploads. It also provides a task management tool where content creation, design, and copywriting tasks live within the platform, and managers can approve or comment on the final calendar directly without needing an account.
- Mama CRM’s AI Marketing Ecosystem and Future Goals: The vision for Mama CRM is to create an AI marketing ecosystem based on the four foundational pillars: awareness, engagement, leads, and sales. The platform currently generates content ideas for specific objectives (e.g., engagement and leads) and products, and future developments include providing reminders for posting different content formats, such as stories or carousels, to maximize traffic.
- Special Offers and Upcoming Boot Camp: Oresti Michael announced an exclusive freebie for webinar attendees: three months of free access to Mama CRM for those who sign up for any paid package, which will be added after the standard 21-day trial, and they also offer a demo with clients. Silia Vassiliou also promoted a free, HRDA-subsidized, two-day A.I. driven marketing boot camp with KPMG on April 28th and 29th for company sign-ups. The boot camp covers theoretical basics like marketing strategy, target audience segmentation, and branding on the first day, and practical tools like ChatGPT, video creation, and an in-depth session on Mama CRM on the second day.
